The Philippine police force are about to try out the idea of running their police cruisers partly on used cooking oil from McDonald’s restaurants. The oil is used to cook french-fries and the restaurant’s famous chicken McNuggets.

Nissan announced plans today to launch its first clean diesel vehicle in Japan this fall, reports the Detroit News.
